Sprint Car Driver Cody Keller
The 2012 Sprint car season for Cody Keller brings in a new and differant chassis, and alot of expectations for a successful season for the 21 year old entering his 5th year in 358 sprint car competition. The team has switched to Maxim Chassis and are very excited for the season to begin in just a few short weeks.
Coming off a very impressive 7th place finish in the point standings at Selinsgrove Speedway, Cody's 2012 racing schedule will consist of racing at the fastest half mile on the east coast, Selinsgrove Speedway, each and every Saturday night. Although the team entered all of the 410 Sprint car races at Selinsgrove last season, as well as competing against the World of Outlaws at Williamsgrove Speedway in 2011, the team as of now is planning on just solely concentrating on the 358 Sprint car events this season. The competition at Selinsgrove Speedway is the toughest group of competitors in the east coast, but competing against the best is something Cody is very well used to, as he grew up racing against the best competitors on the east coast in the Go Cart ranks for many years.
The team would like to thank all of their sponsors, including Troutmans Meat Market, for coming on board the race team in 2011 as the main sponsor for the 99k race team.
Matt Keller, owner of Keller's Auto Body in Selinsgrove Liverpool & New Columbia Pa., has been around the racing industry for several years. Keller's Auto Body sponsored race cars have produced dozens of wins and several track championships with many different drivers over the years. Matt Keller has been a proud race sponsor of Selinsgrove Speedway for years, along with heading the sponsorship for the Pro Stock division in previous years.
Matt has developed his son Cody into a pure race driver from the Go Cart division all the way up to the 358 Sprint Car ranks. In 2007, Cody got the opportunity to show his racing talents behind the wheel of the family owned Keller's Auto Body #99k Sprint Car.
